In fact, the furniture inside the bar is all DIY work by Mr. Konishi himself.

Mr. Konishi says, "I wanted to do everything myself. When we opened, I made the furniture with the help of friends. Even this counter was made from scratch by us, not by a carpenter."
Mr. Konishi, who also played the guitar and sang vocals, aimed to become a professional musician.
He didn't start out with the goal of becoming a bartender; instead, he gained various work experiences while pursuing his dream of becoming a musician.
After getting married, he was entrusted with the position of bar manager by an acquaintance, where he learned the ropes of running a bar in earnest.
After four years of apprenticeship, he finally opened "BAR Ouch & Oops" in October 2015.
He created a place of relaxation and enjoyment that was loved by a wide range of people, from locals to tourists.
Not only locals but also many tourists from abroad visit "BAR Ouch & Oops."
Mr. Konishi says, "Many tourists from overseas often worry about where to go sightseeing the next day. So sometimes, I suggest plans for the next day. They are very pleased with it. It's heartwarming when they come back the next night after finishing sightseeing and share their experiences."
