Delusional European orchestra with a story in mind Piemonterno

We would like to introduce Piemonterno, a delusional European band that expands its musical activities with its roots in Saiin Negaposi, a live music venue located not far from Saiin Station.
The band's delusions, which originated in Kyoto and swelled via Europe, burst forth in a big way.
The band has a rare and unique personality, delivering a story-like view of the world with music that evokes the sound of film music writer Ennio Morricone and the world of film director Federico Fellini.
Their music is like a fantasy
The colourful colours and rich images will come to the listener's mind.
Vocalist Ayatsuki Shimizu, a.k.a. Satsukine, recreates the world of the songs and lyrics of writer Taro Hyojun, just like an actress.
The four-piece orchestra also includes Hiro Shibata on tuba and Raku Sakamoto on flute.
Ayatsuki Shimizu's expressive voice, honed through folk songs, echoes in the air, giving life to the words and giving a unique charm to the world of delusional Europe.
And the ensemble, which complements the songs of this satsukine with aplomb, is also a feature of Piemonterno's personality.
In fact, when the band was first formed in Kyoto in 2010, Mr Hyotaro had never actually been to Europe. He had continued to perform works drawn solely from his imagination out of a longing for Europe.
That is the origin of Delusional Europe.
Mr Hyotaro, who calls himself a writer, says: "The world I have longed for and fantasised about since I was a child is put into lyrics and songs, and when the audience's sensibilities are fused with this, the world that Piemonterno has created evolves even further.
Once exposed to Piemonterno's performances, listeners are bound to immerse themselves in their own playfulness.
For them, fantasy is a symbol of freedom.
I hope that by imagining various scenes in their performances, people will release their everyday life and rediscover their own free view of the world, which tends to fade away in the busyness of life."
With these thoughts in mind, the band is energetically active.
their activities has finally expanded outside Japan
In 2017, the trio went to France, and in 2019 to Germany, the Czech Republic and Austria for 45 live performances in 37 days, where they were applauded as "new music representing Japan".
